It's About Time

The girls have been napping in their cribs for at least a month now. At night though they were sleeping in our room. They would start the night in the pack and play but usually end up in our bed.

The past few nights Clara has spent the whole night in the pack and play. One morning we even had to wake her up to eat with her sister. Lucy wasn't doing as well as her sister and usually ended up in our bed sooner.

Last night we took the plunge. After they ate at 10:30 we put them down in their cribs. In the nursery.

Lucy needed a paci replacement once early on. Clara slept the whole night without interruption. Lucy did get up at 3:30 to eat but went right back down in her crib after.

I'm so proud of my girls!! It was great to have our bed back and I loved going into their room and seeing their smiling faces this morning.

I always though after their first night in the cribs we'd be exhausted the next day. I'm happy to say we are fully rested and ready to enjoy our Sunday.

  2. Awesome! We did the transition with Stella right around 6 months and it didn't go quite as well, but it was amazing to get such solid sleep again.

  4. Congrats! We had a surprisingly smooth transition to cribs as well. Isn't it great to have your own room again?

  5. Hope this is still going well and the first night wasn't a fluke! I really want to start transitioning my two to their cribs soon as well. I'm not thinking it's going to be an easy task.
